Disney Aulani Resort Offers Free Child Care

A visit to a Hawaiian Disney resort and spa is an absolute dream for parents. It’s a double knock-out of a vacation. A retreat for the adults, the magical aura of Disney for the kids, and beautiful weather, beaches, and pools for everyone to enjoy. But during a vacation to any Disney location, it’s obviously all about the kids. Rides, activities, good food, shows, and of course, photo ops with Mickey Mouse and his crew.

And whether you have one child or several, having adult time with your spouse or other adults on a family trip to a resort and spa is a must. Luckily, the Aulani Disney Resort & Spa has you covered.

The age range required for this complimentary childcare and other premium experiences is potty trained 3-year-olds to 12-year-olds. However, all ages are welcome during the open house with an accompanied adult.

The place is called Aunty’s Beach House, a 5,200-square-foot space, filled with amenities that kids and tweens can enjoy. Every day is different with Aunty at her house, and there are so many things to do. It ranges from Aunty sharing her Hawaiian history and culture to daily theme changes, arts & crafts, dress-up, games, a Disney movie room, outdoor playground, and more. Don’t worry though, Aunty isn’t alone, she’s got Disney Youth Counselors on her side to provide proper supervision and childcare.

Premium fun experiences can also be included at a fee for your children. For example, learning about and feeding fish, a makeover, decorating a mini surfboard, and over an hour of playtime with Moana, are some of the many events.

But due to popularity, these premium events require reservations, and there is no down payment since it’s pay upon arrival. So, you have time to change your mind on these events or Aunty’s Beach House and cancel 24 hours before while you get a feel for the Disney resort.

Stop by Aunty’s Beach House once you arrive to complete registration, and you can get on to being childfree when you need to! And if you’re worried about the hours, 8:00 am to 9:00 pm allows you a lot of freedom and choices.
