A Montessori school is mostly hands-on. Some children will be preoccupied in one task while other groups of students will be handling various other topics. The students in these classrooms all study and work at their own pace, they might work individually or in groups, working on school work that they have chosen and enjoy.
Montessori school work on developing the whole child, socially, physically, emotionally, and cognitively. There are approximately 22,000+ Montessori schools in the country.
