Meghan Markle's Pregnancy: Everything You Need To Know

On May 19, 2018, the whole world witnessed the fairy tale wedding of Meghan Markle and Prince Harry on national television. A few months later Meghan hinted that at “some pint’ the couple would need to purchase baby products. Then on October 2018, the Kensington Palace was the first to say that “Their Royal Highnesses The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are very pleased to announce that the Duchess of Sussex is expecting a baby in the Spring of 2019.” Spring is just around the corner which means there will be a new addition to the family in a few months. Here are a few things to know before the royal baby arrives.

Due Date

Meghan was in the town Birkenhead on January 14, when she revealed that she was about six months with a due date in late April. The zodiac sign for April 20-May 20 is a Taurus which means the baby could be friendly, warm-hearted and determined just like her parents. During that period, the royal baby could share a birthday with Prince Louis on April 23, 2018, or Princess Charlotte on May 2, 2015.

Gender

It seems as if all Royals are holding off on throwing a gender reveal party and waiting until the baby arrives to find out the sex. Prince William and Kate Middleton chose that option for all three of their children and the soon to be parents mentioned that they would like their child to be a surprise as well. Royals tend not to find out the gender of their baby because it is protocol not to reveal gender until the baby is born.

Nursery

Baby Sussex’s nursery will be in the 10- bedroom Frogmore House an hour away from London which will be ready March 2019.  The couple has decided to decorate the nursery in neutral colors because it’s going to be a monochrome palette meaning whites and grays. Katie Nicholl reported on Vanity Fair that the nursery has “top-of-the-line cameras, security windows, and a state-of –the- art stereo system.”

Seventh in Line

The new baby will be seventh in line after his or her dad Prince Harry. Being born into a royal family and automatically receiving a slot in the throne is a phenomenal way to make an entrance into the world. Prince Andrews will be bumped down to eighth place once the baby is born.

During Prince Harry’s engagement interview he said: “Hopefully we’ll start a family in the near future.” He spoke those words right into existence because these two lives are about to change in a big way for the better good. This new royal baby will have the whole world in love with him or her as we are with their parents.
